OK so I was going through my closet and my hard drive. The holiday season is upon us. I have never been too big into holidays but I have always been big on makeup and clothes! So whenever I do get an opportunity to dress up it is always fun.


Nowadays I am more comfortable in my own skin so I think at this age and at this stage in my life I am more willing to express myself a bit more with makeup and not worry about it if people think it is too much or not. Clothing wise it is always a struggle for me to find styles that I like and that fit and flatter my body type. Especially after having a baby things were bad before but now it’s just tragic!lol


Accessories well the old saying less is more or take off 1 item before you walk out of the house is probably good advice for a regular basis. But during a Holiday party or an anniversary or something well I like to SPARKLE! hehe


SO this year I am actually ahead of the game I have about 3 outfits to wear for the holiday events. The biggest is probably the SFS annual holiday party. My hubby William is in the USAF and his squadron which is usually the biggest at whatever base we are holds an annual holiday party for the members and spouses. It is usually a fun time and an excuse for me to pull out my red lipstick!lol

These are my options ..Tell me what you think!

option 1 (this is an example not the actual dress I have)



This dress is really similar to the one I do own. The one I have is black and white print but it’s a scroll pattern and under the bust where the band is it is red and ties in the back.

The dress I have i bought for under 25 bucks at the bx in Vicenza, Italy! I plan on wearing a black cashmere cardigan on top and most likely red peep toe pumps.

Option 2 which is a bit less dressy and more sassy hehe





This dress I got on sale at oldnavy.com for 12.99 ! It is a jersey material and I plan on wearing it with black tights and black suede knee high boots or some black patent mary janes I have.

Option 3 The one I have is the print. Navy print with floral pattern.The back in the print and I couldn’t find a picture of the front of the dress with the print but here is the front in red.






Another oldnavy steal I think I also paid about 12.99. It is more of a summer dress. But the print is just sooo pretty in person. Too me it is kind of retro and reminds me of something I would see in the pearl harbor movie. I would pair it with a sweet red cardigan I have and some heels not sure most likely my red peeps toes I dunno. The material is cotton but feels and looks more like a crepe material? I think that is what it is called. I dunno depends on how cold it is that night lol. It’s is really flattering on too. Ugh I am torn.
